"Grand Lady" - Antique Side Saddle

Timeless beauty dating back to the 1860’s. This saddle received a full restoration starting with the tree or framework to insure a sound foundation. All the old leather was meticulously removed and saved for tooling patterns and design. It was recreated with red garment quality leather seat, natural oiled Wickett & Craig cowhide, border-tooled with vine-tooled safe (side piece) and finished with hand-made brass buttons. Great-grandmother’s very own sidesaddle is now preserved for future generations. Thanks, CD in Illinois.
